Hymer is probably Europe’s best known motorhome manufacturer and has been producing its very distinctive A Class model for over 25 years. The company Hymer has been building caravans for over 50 years but within the Hymer group they also have a number other well know and distinctive brands including Burstner, Carado, Dethleffs, Eriba, Laika and Niesmann + Bischoff.

Hymer started production of its first caravan in the late 50s under the name Eriba Touring. Hymer made an abortive attempt to build campervans in the early 60s but production fully started in the early 70s under the names of Hymercar and Hymermobil, one of the first A class motorhomes on the European market. Hymer was an early trendsetter in the industry introducing new technology, comfort and design, together with a focus on quality and safety. In 1981 Hymer introduced the B-Class model which remains in production until this day and, through its evolution over the years, is the model generally recognised by most as a “Hymer”.

Hymer export their vehicles throughout Europe and, whilst the UK market remains one of Hymer’s largest export markets, in recent years they have been expanding sales to other markets around the world including Canada, South Africa, New Zealand and more recently Japan.

We offer original Hymer parts from bumpers, lights and wheel arch spats to habitation doors, locks and windows.
